DJsAm - The Musical Beast who give sleepless nights to all top DJ of North-East India.

Hi readers, wish everything going on well in track. In this article I bring something not usually happens in blogs. I bring one of the best musical beast of North-East India. He is a DJ yes you got it a Disk Jockey. He is better known as DJsAm. Behind every successful DJ Event of North-East he is the reason for that now a days. From Lower Assam to Upper Assam to Meghalaya to Arunachal to   Sikkim he is everywhere of North-East India, Ask every kid in the town who is their favorite just one name comes out of them is DJsAm. He is smooth playlist, he is cool enough to make girls fall instantly with his perfect style of playing, and he is inspiration for thousand of youngsters. One fine day we had some chit-chat about his life, ups-down, music & fun. I have penned down for your good read. Check it out below.
DJsAm Spinning

Me: Sam thank you for joining with the readers of youngmantras, so how are you?

DJsAm: I am smooth with the road out here. I am good & jolly.

Me: Sam first tells us why you choose to be DJ?

DJsAm: Ahhh, I don’t ever thought I would be a DJ. Well it happened in 2012. It was a turning point in my life. 2012 was best and worst for me. I had a troubled depressed life, Family troubles and little heart ache you know. I was getting depressed day after day. I was studying than at IDEMI, Mumbai. I was inquisitive and still I am with big web. But tragedy sucked and kind of bunked and lost my classes. Used to be alone, sometimes locked in the dark. Then came the music in my life, I used listen a lot of hardcore, hard trance, metal kind of genres of music, out of depression actually. While listening I would go through my whole life I found peace somewhere.  Then I tend to listen other peaceful and happy genres too like country, classic, uplifting trance.  The club tunes, the hip-hop, rap came after that. So in short I found peace in the music. So gave a thought, I love the music when I keep listening. It keeps me alive and jolly, why not make it a careere. And so, here I am a DJ.

Me: Wow that is really quite a nostalgic journey. So how you will define the profession DJ?

DJsAm: DJ means Disck Jockey. A DJ is a playlist with soul. Weaving and mixing the tunes with emotions of the crowd. All alive.

Me: Which city or Town of North-East India you love to wave your playlist most?

DJsAm: It is hard to tell. Guwahati is the main city in Nort-East India, so it is the hub, you have the diversity of music and loads of commerciality. Personally I love spinning in the hilly regions like Arunachal Pradesh, Shillong , Dimapur , Diphu, every kid in the town knows the music. They have the natural energy to dance and make the night go happy. I spinned up till 7 A.M in the morning there. I love them, and love to soon there mostly. In Assam it is kind of different. Lower Assam is challenging than upper Assam. Upper Assam tends to be acquainted with the club scene and lower Assam ready to have it all. We just need to spread it up.

Me: Sounds cool enough, Sam there are lots of Kids out there want to be DJ so maybe it will help them if you tell them what is needed to be a DJ?

DJsAm: Everyone will say music but I will say combination of Music, Network, Money, Online Presence, some Internet savvy brains, a long list supporters , a leader inside you, the managing aspect , knowledge of DJing history, and the never give up attitude. Let me elaborate some of these , Music is the foremost because DJing is all about music so you need to have bust knowledge of music, Network in a sense better you know people the better it helps you in the long run, if you have money you can buy the stage or create your own events, online presence is must now a days more than half of my own gigs are booked from people from facebook,. There will be time you know when everyone you know will against you or what you do, so you need a positive attitude to standby and go-on.

Me: How you define success?

DJsAm: (Laugh) It cannot measured dude, cannot be measured just like the beauty. Its the limit you perceive your success to be . There is no harm in it, but once you reach your limit you will want more. So there is no limit to success or it cannot be measured. It only what you perceive your success to be.

Me: Great, so let’s have some fun ask-tell game, what you say?

DJsAm: What I supposed to do?

Me:  Nothing just answers comfortably.

DJsAm: All right, I am ready with my guns blazing.

Me: Okay, so name three things you can’t live without?

DJsAm: My laptop, Internet & Mother Nature.

Me:  Name five things you never forget to take with you on your journey to play?

DJsAm: My Hard Disc (HDD), Chargers, A pair of T-shirts, a pair of Jeans and my mobile phone.

Me: Interesting, okay Sam, whom you will credit your success?

DJsAm: My failures.

Me: So philosophical, tell us if you have a wish to live a life of any music legend whose life you would love to live?

DJsAm: (Laugh) My own. I don’t compare myself with any of the legend & I don’t want to live any of their life either, I respect them but will live and create my own life.

Me: So self-sufficient.

DJsAm: Yeah, self-sufficient and self-satisfied.

Me: If there is a bag full of US$ and a high end DJ machine and you can take one only, which one you will take?

DJsAm: I will rather divide the money take a lot small modular DJ controllers.

Me: Finally any words towards your fans and music lover?

DJsAm: Music is meant for sharing. Spread the love and whenever you feel down plug in your head-phone and tune your favourite track. You would be happy, you did. Love you all.

Me: Thank you Sam for your valuable time. It’s nice to have you in the blog. Thank you so much. Wish you more success and good health.

DJsAm:  It is my pleasure. Keep Rolling, you have my regards.

Wish you love the interaction and wish this will help you in many ways. Thank you for tuning to Young Mantras. See you in next article. Be healthy & keep shining. Happy New Year in Advance.

In case your interest to hire him.

Releasing the zero budget hindi short film Soch - The Thought

Welcome to my blog once again. For sure you are here for the link of Soch - The Thought that's why I will not take much time of yours. I know you don't have that much time due to your busy schedule, do you know this time and business (busy-ness) for ourselves only brought us where? A place where there is no humanity, there is lack of personal communication, there is loads of ignorance, there is loads of selfishness. We don't have time look after others, don't have time to look around, don't have time to raise the voice against crime. We are on the way to office and there are bunch of goons beating a innocent people we don't stop because we are already late for the office. On the way to home at night there are some shit-headed people molesting a girl we never try to stop them even don't call the police because we are late for the home and our family members are waiting for us. Still we think we are human? Candle light march doesn't make us human after letting happen the same thing we are marching for! It's high time to reconstruct the humanity, to repair our soul , to fill the heart with feelings, we need to change the SOCH  (The Thought). My film is based on two different thought processes describing on a single plot. Wish my little work with amateur hands can make a difference.
I want to review my own work because I think from my review you can find some answer of your question after watching it.
1. Technically there is little problem with the volume if you are watching it in you cell-phone without head-gear, you will find it little low without ear-phone. Why this happened? - I have edited the film and the PC was connected with woofer that was in the peak of the volume that's why I could not catch the standard volume. So I will recommend you to put the ear-phone on while you are watching it.
2. In a scene - group of guys check-in the frame and within a few seconds they goes out of the frame. It looks little faster. Why this happened? - It was Friday noon time and being a Muslim I don't miss the Friday Prayer like every other Muslims, so we were running a little out of time. I decided to took the shots of that scene within two shots. I was not expecting it will look this much faster.

Anyway I have already consumed valuable times of yours. You can see the link below, click and watch. Put on ear-phone. Don't forget to feedback.

Experience of making a zero budget film

Soch-TheThought is a 5:23 minutes hindi short film that has been shoots with low quality handicam. No crew members have used as there was no any filming instruments like lights, Reflectors, Tracks, Trolly, Make-ups, Boom Mic, even I din't used the camera stand or tri-pod or multi-pod. There was no cinematographer so I was handling the camera along with direction , as I am not a professional cinematographer it was obvious of shaking camera when I moved for panning so it was really a big problem for me, as there was no stand for camera so I used different angle just get rid out of shaking. As it's a zero budget independent film I have requested some of great friends like Maahi Salman Ross Kaif Babu Khan Lotip Maya Chowdhury Arif Chowdhury Dev to help me out on location and asked them to act in the film , though they are not actors or even they don't have that much knowledge of acting still they did accept my request and did what I asked for. Local people of the location helped me during the shooting with water supply as it was really sunny day and frequently everyone used get thirsty. I couldn't take long shots though it was necessary in some scenes as i couldn't afford the dubbing charge of the studio. I edited the film as there was no one who will do it free for me. I tried to tell my story and pass a message through a film cause it can strike the heart as well as head of responsible and sensible persons. Wish everyone will like it. I remeber once someone told me " Xahid Quality doesn't matter, all matter is your content" , on the basis of this phrase I started the film without the budget and without thinking about filming instruments and crews . You know where there is will there is a way. Anyway let me come to the main point is film has only two days to enter the web , I will share the streaming and download link of the film. Please watch and feedback when its comes to you. Tons of love for reading such long post. Thank you.

How to Breakup Relationship without Hurting

If you are in a poor relationship with your GF/BF and just want to get rid out of it but still you stick to the relationship just because you don't want to hurt her/him. If you think, you care about her/him that's why you just don't want to tell her/him your feelings of breakup then don't you think, you are just telling her/him lies after lies just to comfort her/him, though when you don't have true feelings alive anymore, that I called Playing with  someone's feelings, moreover I love to tell you are wasting your time and her/him  time too.

It's better to breakup than maintain a poor and unhealthy relationship joh andar se khokla ho chuka he (which is empty from inside). Last night my friend Rinki said, "GF/BFs are more than good friends that's why it's not complicated to talk about breakup."  But there are some Mantras to breakup according to me,if we follow these Mantras. I am sure if your GF/BF is sensible, thoughtful, have understanding then she/he will not get hurt feelings instead he/she will respect your decision and will let you free.

So, bellow mentioned five Mantras you can follow when you breakup and want not to hurt him/her.

Mantra 1.  Explanation with Clarity

Explain the reason for wanting to breakup with clarity. Vague and convoluted reasons can just leave him/her upset, paranoid and more confused. Before your explanation take a long hard look at your thought process and examine your true reasons. Make sure your decision is truly how you feel. Be honest and open with your GF/BF about your reason to end the relationship for good.

Mantra 2.  Avoid Drawing False Hope

Avoid giving your GF/BF false hope about the future if you really want to breakup permanently. But people often make this mistake when breaking up is leaving hope. Firmly close the door on relationship otherwise it will only lead to hurt feelings and heart ache for him/her.

Mantra3. Avoid Breakup on Phone

Avoid breaking up on the phone. Breaking up through a phone call can come across as heartless, impersonal and just plain rude. Make the effort and take the time to do so face to face in person. This will show him/her that you value your former relationship enough to speak to him/her in person.

Mantra 4.  Don't Waste Time

As soon as you found that the relationship has no future and going nowhere breakup with your GF/BF, avoid wasting your time and his/her time also. End the relationship as soon as you realize it is over.

Mantra 5. Use Privacy

Breakup can be very emotional situations. Breakup with you GF/BF privately. Provide him/her with dignity of a quiet and private place when you breakup with him/her. Avoid taking him/her romantic spot or the places you guys have on romantic date before.
  • TIP: Exercise delicacy if you don't want to hurt her/him, be delicate with your reason behind the breakup. For example " Tum mere liye sahi nehi ho!" ( You just don't good enough for me), that will lead hurt feelings, devastation and even anger, possibly consider on placing the blame on yourself. Say something like " Mujhe lagta ke abhi bhi main serious relationship ke liye tayar nehi hu" (I think, I am not ready for a serious relationship yet).

  •  WARNING: Avoid the pitfall of behavour badly and forcing your GF/BF to breakup with you. Don't waste time on taking cowardly route,be good, frank, gentle when you breakup.

5 Unsung Heroes of Indian Independence

Each and every year Republic Day and Independence Day approaches is a lot of witting, articles, documentary published and broadcast in News Papers, Magazines, Blogs, Websites, social Media Pages, T.V, Radio etc on the Heroes who contributes and fought for Independence of our India. Political speeches replete with tales of sacrifice of our freedom fighters but almost every time the same names get all the attention and mentioned, while innumerable others lesser known names have been lost into forgotten pages of history. On this 67th Republic Day I would like to focus some light on 5 Unsung Heroes of Indian Independence who have by all means struggle for Independence of India.

      1. Allah Bux Soomro ( 1990- 1943) :

Most of us not even heard of Allah Bux, a name long ignored on both the sides of border. This man has classified everything that secular India values today but remain an unsung hero. During the days of Quit India Movement in 1942 he was the Premier of Sind in what is now in Pakistan (Chief Minister was called Premier those days) and he was the founder of Ittehad Party.
Allah Bux Soormo

He was the strong believer in united India, one whose heritage belongs to both Hindus and Muslims, together.  He strongly opposed the Muslim League’s position of the two-nation theory on the basis of religion. In 1940 he organized Azad Muslim Conference in Delhi that was attended by over 1400 delegates from all over the nation, where he positively spoke of a united India for both Hindus and Muslims. He always stands against on the creation of Pakistan.

Unfortunately, he didn’t find support from either National Congress or the Muslim League, which detested him for his opposition to their two-nation theory. He was murdered on May 4, 1943 by Professional Killers.

 2.  Chandrashekhar Azad (1872-1950):

Chandarshekhar Azad was among the great Indian freedom fighters but with passage of time slowly we have forgotten him. His unbeatable patriotism and courage inspired others to enter the era of struggle for freedom; he was mentor of Bhagat Singh, another great freedom fighter of India. While he was pursuing education in Sanskrit in Benaras he was deeply troubled by Jaliwanwala Bagh Massacre in Amritsar in 1919. When Mahatma Gandhi Launched Non-Cooperation Movement, Chandrashekhar Azad actively participated in revolutionary movement. He received his first punishment at age of fifteen.  Chandrashekhar was caught while indulging in revolutionary activities. When magistrate asked him his name he said “ Azad” (Which means free), from then on Chandrashekhar assumed the title of Azad and came to known as Chandrashekhar Azad. He was a terror for British Police.
Chandra Shekhar Azad

Along with Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru He formed the Hindustan Socialist Republic Association (HRSA), which was committed to complete Independence and socialist principles for India’s future progress.

He involved in Kakori Train Robbery (1926), attempt to blow up the Viceroy’s Train (1926), and involved in the Shooting of Saunders at Lahore (1928) to avenge the killing of Lala Lajpat Rai.

He was wanted by British police dead or alive, on 27th of February, 1931 he got surrounded by British Police at Alfred Park where he fought alone and killed three policemen, while he seeing no route to escape he shot himself.

  3. Lala Lajpat Rai (1865- 1928):
Lal-Bal-Pal trio remember yes I am sure you have read it in School days! Lala Lajpat Rai was of the three most most prominent Hindu Nationalist members of Indian National Congress and others two members of the were Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Bipin Chandra Pal . They formed extremist faction of the Indian National Congress, as opposed to the moderate one led by Goapal Krishna Gokhale. Lalaji actively participated in the struggle against partition of Bengal.
Lala Lajpat Rai
Lalaji was arrested on May 3, 1907 for creating “turmoil” in Rawalpindi. He was put in Mandalay jail for six months and was released on November 7,1907. He went to USA to galvanize  support for India. He founded the Indian Home League Society of America and wrote a book called “ Young India”. The book severely indicted British rule in India and was banned in Britain and India even before it was published.
Lala Lajpat Rai led procession against Simon Commission. While the procession was peaceful, British Government brutally lathi charged the procession.Lalaji received  severe head injuries and died on 17th  November in 1928.

            4. Aruna Asaf Ali (1909 - 1996):
Aruna Asaf Ali  was a legendary heroine of India’s freedom struggle. Her first major political action was during Salt Satyagrah in 1930 when she addressed public meetings and led procession. British Government charged her for being a “Vagrant” and sentenced her to one year imprisonment. When political prisoners were released in the aftermath of Gandhi-Irwin pact, Aruna was not released. But public agitation in favour of her release forced British Government to release her.
Aruna Asaf Ali
She arrested again in 1932 and put in Tihar Jail, in Tihar Jail she went on a hunger strike against the treatment meted out to political prisoners. After her release, she dropped out of the NationaL Movement for 10 years.
In 1942 she attended the Bombay Congress Session, where the historic Quit India Movement  resolution was passed on 8th August. When the congress leaders were arrested on the day after this resolution was passed, Arunaji presided over the flag-hoisting ceremony at Gowalia Tank Maidan in Bombay. She became full-time activist in the Quit India Movement and went underground to evade arrest. Her properties were seized by the British Ruler, Government also announced Rs. 5000 reward for her capture. Meanwhile she fell ill and Gandhiji advised her to surrender. However, she surrendered herself only when the warrants against her cancelled on 26th January 1946.
She was elected Delhi’s first Mayor. She was awarded the Lenin Prize for Peace in 1975 and Jawahar Lal Nehru award for International Understanding for 1991, she was awarded India’s highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna and was honoured with a stamp issued by the Indian Postal Service in 1998. She died on 29th July 1996.

       5. Sukhdev Thapar (1907-1931):

He was amongst those great Indian freedom fighters who sacrifice their life for the freedom of their country. Sukhdev was founder member of Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), organised revolutionary cell in Punjab and North India. He along with other renowed revolutionaries started “Naujawan Bharat Sabha” at Lahore that was an organisation involved in various activities, mainly gearing youths for freedom struggle.
Sukhdev Thapar

Sukhdev himself tookactive part in several revolutionary activities like the “Prison Hunger Strike” in 1926, his daring yet courageous attack in the Lahore Conspiracy Case (18th December, 1928), that shook the very foundation of the British Government, Sukhdev was accomplice of Bhagat Singh and Shivram Rajguru, who were involved in the assassination of Deputy Superintendent of Police, J.P.Saunders in 1928, thus avenging the death of Lala Lajpat Rai. After the Central Assembly Hall bombing in Delhi (8th April, 1929), Sukhdev and his accomplice were arrested and convicted of their crime, facing the death sentence as verdict.

On 23rd March, 1931, the brave revolutionary Sukhdev Thapar along with Bhagat Singh and Shivaram  Rajguru were hanged.

It is recalled that great sacrifice can be made by great soul only. They were born great and their greatness lies in the root of sacrifice they have made. A sacrifice can be in the form of money, property and sincere service but whatever the form of sacrifice is, sacrifice for the mother land is something greater and higher than any gift of God.
